Spring Drive 2025      “Prison Break!”

The Spring Drive 2025 for Iowa Zoomin’ Z’s will take place April 19, weather permitting.

The drive will include a tour of the Anamosa Men’s Penitentiary Museum!

We will meet at 11:00 at the Marion Walmart (Corner of Hwy 151 and Hwy 13) parking lot across from McDonald’s. From there we will take a short drive to Springville where we will eat lunch at Sally’s On Broadway. Sally’s is a family style restaurant known for great tenderloins!    https://sallysonbroadway.net/

Then we will take a scenic back roads drive through Stone City and into Anamosa where we will tour the Men’s Penitentiary Museum, view a video on the history of the Reformatory, and maybe get locked in a prison cell. After that, we will return to Marion to end the drive. Sign up is mandatory for this outing. Cost of the tour is $3 cash only payable at the door. No one with outstanding warrants is allowed.
